One side completed

Today one side is complete and much of the rear lounge area has been completed.

Despite a bit of rain today there was good progress again. Have being playing around with photo stitching so here is a wide view of the rear living area taken from the kitchen sink location.

The Castillo bricks show up really well in pictures so it is easy to take good shots of all the pipes and fittings for later reference!

First wall almost complete

Today we found that great progress had been made and almost the entire side wall completed. Looks like the bricks have even been matched and not just put down at random. Hopefully this rate of work will continue and it will be done quickly.

Second day of bricking and we think it looks great. Spoke to SS today and he thinks that bricks will be done in about three weeks. Even better they won't be painting the gutters and fascias 'till the very end so we have lots of time to decide on colours. Should be easy to photoshop the gutters in various colours after the bricks are up.

Today we got a nice surprise, dropping in for a quick look we found that the brickies have been and started. Even better the mortar choice looks very nice. Hopefully they can get it done well before Christmas to leave time for the post lockup work.




This shows how they have moved all of the bricks into nice piles.


Another use for our garage, looks like they have even got a chair!
